This is the last day of January,
only 8 minutes away from February,
and I wanna apologize.
I'm sorry for what I did and what I didn't do.
I know I didn't start this year very well, please forgive me.
At this moment I'll start again.
With Your hands holding mine.
And my spirit dwelling in Yours.
2011 is going to be an awesome year,
the year when I see how perfect Your plans are.
And I'll rejoice in You each day,
forever.
Thank You, Father :)
Amen.

22
Ahahah maybe some of you remember this post and an emo quote from Ted Mosby about being 18 and having his life all figured out. I forgot to share this but a funny (maybe divine) incident happened after I posted it. "The Best Burger in New York", which was the first episode from HIMYM s4, was on TV. It's about Marshall struggling to find the first (and the best) burger he tried in NY, back when he was a fresh graduate in 22.
And why does he want to find it so bad? Here is the original script:
Marshall: It's stupid. I think about that first week in New York. You know? I was 22 years old. I had my whole future ahead of me. I guess I just kind of thought that if I could have that burger one more time and feel that way for one more night, that I might be able to check that off the list, and grow up, go work for the stupid bank, and just... be happy.
Wow. Jaw dropped instantly. I think it's from above. Yes :) IIIII ssshhhouuulnndn't haaavvvve beeeen ssssoooo EMO. I was 18 four years ago, I'm 22 now, I'm still YOUNG, and I have a bright future in God. AMEN!
Ah maybe it also means 22 is a good time to move to NYC? Bwahahah.
Okay I do have some regrets about letting 4 years flew so fast. And I don't wanna do it again. I will be 26 four years from now and I won't look back wondering -where did those 4 years go-.

The Stairs, the Markers, and the Pen
Oh! I used to looooove making these kinda things:

The Stairs, 2003
I still do now, I just forget. Ahahah. How I wish I still have time for freizeit art :(
Finding that piece of paper reminds me of how I used to love black Snowman markers (FYI it's a local brand whose products function really really really well despite of the low price - compared to SGD ). Ah I remember bringing at least 10 markers everytime I went back from Indo - di Singapur mana ada yang kayak gini. It's just amazing how you can create complicated arts with a small practical cheap black marker.
Nah. Then one day when a class was about to start I realized I didn't bring my drawing pens, I went down to nearby ArtFriend to buy the cheapest drawing pen available, just for that class, then I found one with an 1.0 on the cap and it was only around 2$.
Then at the class I realized it wasn't a drawing pen, it's a calligraphy pen. But I used it anyway and wooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Mi Manchi
I miss you.
When the sun touches the horizon,
when darkness covers the sounds of the people..
