Kudou!

I stopped reading Japanese comics in elementary school, I even started disliking them in junior high probably because of the rise of the prices, there were too much of them, and most of them started having to be read from right to left which is annoying! Such a pain seeing my friends spent their pocket money to buy those unreasonably priced comics. Maybe that's why my peers were so into Japan (or now, Korea) and I, Italy (and of course not Korea after what happened in mid 2002 *I've forgiven them, really* haha I like Korean ramen!).

But I myself spent quite much on novels hahahahah but it also started to be too much of the to handle (those chicklits and teenlits really outgrew), so by the end of junior high, when my friends started reading novels, I stopped. When I go back to Jakarta I always go to bookstores to check stuff, maybe a novel to kill time, but really, too many great stories, don't know what to choose, so I most of the time end up bringing home a magazine. Hihi. Comics are worse, I just don't know where to start, there are hundreds of them just in one shelf. 

But everytime I go back to Jakarta I always at least once, go to the comic section to find Aoyama Gosho's Conan - open the last page to see if Conan returned to be Shinichi - no he didn't - close it again - leave the comic section.

Conan is my favorite manga ever, even (a little bit) more than Doraemon! I was randomly reading my brother's comics back in elementary school and found a comic with cool characters and interesting stories, I instantly became a fan. We're very excited everytime a new volume was released, our dad started getting familiar with the request, "mo beli Conan,"

And what I remember is, it took very loooooooongggggg for each volume to be released in Indonesia, I was tired of waiting, until we're all grown up, and I'm not very excited about Conan anymore, of course I didn't bother reading online, so yea I only "read" it everytime I go back. 

A week ago, Mei told me and my roommate about Conan returning temporarily to be Shinichi again in a volume that hasn't been released in Indo - which is apparently so slow, she gave us the link and it happened. We're now crazy (again) about Con...Shinichiiii....! 

These 2 days I was busy watching the movies with Yanika and Paulina hahahahah - and we watched them with excitement, laughter, pity (for Ran huhuuuu), a .."KYAAAAAA....!" everytime Shinichi appears and an "Awwww...." in every Shinichi - Ran and Heiji - Kazuha scenes. 

Fiuh I forgot how I used to like Conan back then.

I admit sometimes I feel bad for those girls - who are willing to die for the beloved anime characters..

My roommate thinks that Shinichi Kudo in real life should be Takeshi Kaneshiro, I think it's Jimmy Lin.
