Well I hope the society will forgive me for not loving animals. For not adoring dogs. I prefer human beings, thank you.
So that day we were discussing about alternative places to go on weekends, because we're bored with weekly trips to Orchard. I was sorta excited until the roommate mentioned ZOO.
Aaaaiiiyo come on. But (haha) how do I say no to that face? And yea maybe a trip to a man-made (of course lah, I mean not the 'jungle' ones) zoo couldn't be that bad. And I love the long bus ride all the way to the zoo. And I miss seeing real crocodiles with my very eyes anyway!
Well it's actually quite wet and humid because it was raining just before we got there - wet land scares me! I really prayed that I wouldn't encounter any worms or centipedes or caterpillars or anything from their gang, thank God I didn't, although the snake prints on the ground really gave me an out-of-nowhere jolt. Overally did I enjoy the trip? Yes, I actually saw majestic creatures, interesting scenes, and some JAW DROPPING ANIMAL BEHAVIORs, and I got to see the crocodiles! Would I go there again? No. Not in the near future at least.
But I would definitely visit the River Safari when it opens next year! *sharks*please*
Anyway here are some scenes from the Singapore Zoo:
